On a personal note…
I spent a lot of my childhood road-tripping across America from Vermont to North Carolina, Florida, Nebraska, Seattle, and back.
Some may say I’m obsessed with my dog, Mona, and they’d be right.
I can’t stop buying coffee mugs as souvenirs. My kitchen cabinet is bursting.
Watercoloring became my COVID hobby. I love painting flowers and landscapes!
I started watching “Friends” when I was just 6 years old, and have never stopped. It’s true love.
Yes, I’m named after the author. Both of my parents were English majors, can you tell?
Frequently Asked Questions
What style of photography do you like most?
I love crisp, bright, natural colors. I aim to capture the true essence of every moment, highlighting not only the subject but the feeling within that moment. I photograph portraits (including headshots, engagements, couples, pets, maternity, branding) and weddings/elopements.
I don’t know how to pose, will you help?
Absolutely! It’s totally normal not to know how to pose — that’s my job to guide you. I’ll give you simple, natural directions and prompts so you feel comfortable and look your best on camera.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot on a mirrorless Canon R with a variety of lenses: 50 mm, 85 mm, & 28-70 mm. I also shoot on 35 mm film, if requested.
How do you price your sessions?
My pricing is designed to be transparent and flexible, with portrait and wedding/elopement packages starting at $80 and $400, respectively. Each session includes a minimum set number of edited images, personalized planning, an online gallery, and sneak peeks.
What should I wear to my photoshoot?
I recommend outfits that reflect your personality. If your favorite outfit has tons of wild patterns and colors, please wear it! The best way to dress is to be yourself (and to be comfortable). I'm also happy to help with styling tips for your desired location and vibe.
